In today’s lesson we are learning about dressing for the snow. You will learn what to wear to protect yourself from the cold: gloves, a coat, a hat and a scarf. So get your own winter clothes ready and let’s play “What are you wearing? / Put your … on!”. More information and the answers video is on the way!

❄ 𝐈𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐧𝐨𝐰 ☃ : This is the first video of the Snow Series. In this series, you will get familiar with the vocabulary and expressions related to what clothes to wear for cold weather and what fun activities to do in the snow. You will also learn how to give advice. You will practice by playing games and you will see what happened to me when my yard was covered in snow!

⏩ Next video of the series – Snow activities.

📋 In this first video of the series, we are introducing vocabulary about winter clothes. We then practice with rounds of questions and answers. We end with the telephone game to help children build a long sentence with all the clothes they are wearing. Throughout the video we are using and repeating typical questions and statements with the verbs “wear” and “put on”.

🧠 Children are learning by using winter clothes-related vocabulary and expressions as they put on their own winter clothes. Games and kinesthetic learning activate physical memory. Here are other concepts children will learn in this video:
